  The Youth Concerto Competition invites students aged 10 to 18, enrolled in grades 5th through 12th and residing in Georgia or South Carolina, to showcase their musical talents on orchestral instruments such as strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and piano! The competition comprises two divisions: the Junior Division for students aged 10 to 13 in 5th through 8th grades, and the Senior Division for students aged 14 to 18 in 9th through 12th grades. The Etherredge Center is putting on a wonderful show!  George Gershwin, a longtime favorite composer, is celebrated with energy and passion. To accompany his music, baritone Robert Sims and lovely soprano Louise Toppin will make use of a sparkling vocal program to enhance some of Gershwin's most famous works.
