In August 2016, Leonardo Colafelice was awarded Second Prize in the prestigious “Cleveland International Piano Competition” and also received three special awards: Audience Prize, Best Performance of a Russian Piece, and The Junior Jury Prize. He has performed with numerous prestigious orchestras including The Cleveland Orchestra, The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, The Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, The Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, The Chile Symphony Orchestra, The Morocco Philharmonic Orchestra, The Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali, The Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto and many more.

Leonardo currently teaches Piano Performance at the “F. Torrefranca” Conservatory of Music in Vibo Valentia and at the age of 21, this makes him the youngest conservatory teacher in all of Italy.
